Greater Manchester Police have released a description of the vehicle they urgently want to find. As a man is fighting for his life after thieves stole his car then used it to run him over in Tameside. Emergency services scrambled to Nook Lane, in Ashton-under-Lyne, following reports of a collision at 7.20am this morning. The victim, a 63-year-old man, saw his car being driven away on Rushmere. He tried to run after the vehicle but it struck him on Nook Lane. The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, where he remains in a critical condition. The offenders did not stop and police are now urgently trying to trace the stolen red Citroen C1, with registration number MV18 0SB. Police have sealed off Nook Lane, at the junction with Hampson Place and St Christopher's Road, while investigation work takes place...
