Kerry Marnell has spent five years in prison but has now turned her life around. She was the drug addicted shoplifter who has 98 convictions to her name and who has spent more than five years in prison. Kerry Marnell, who has lived most of her life in Birmingham, admits she stole anything to feed her addiction which started when she was just 15. She spent 20 years in a vicious cycle of drug addiction, shoplifting, prison and spending life on the streets.
But now, after rehabilitation and thanks to help from a specialist hostel, she has finally kicked the habit which almost destroyed her life and has been drug free for a year.
