“My hard drive has got all the pictures for my two young children since they were born and over 10 years teaching materials, and I do not have any backup for it.”

A thief has broken into a Loughborough’s residents car early this week, it is to believed to of happened between Monday night (29th January 2018) to Wednesday Afternoon (31st January 2018) on Rydal Avenue.

 

Min Song, a teacher at the local university, has had her hard drive stolen, which carried important documents for her students work and pictures from when her children were born, she is heart broken and just wants her hard drive back, Min Song said “If I can get my hard drive back even if the items have been deleted, I can still have them restored, please, please help me get my hard drive with all my photos”

 

A lady who picked up some of Min’s books at the gitty, which is at the end of Langdale Avenue. The thief also took a new size M Northface coat from the boot of her car, a brand new blue Radley handbag, they also took a Nike bag full of books and a 1TB hard drive, Min Song says “My hard drive has got all the pictures for my two young children since they were born and over 10 years teaching materials, and I do not have any backup for it.” The thief left a empty red Northface bag belonging to Min in the next street along.  

Min drove her car on Tuesday around 10:30am , the car was open and the box in the car was broken, Min Says “I have never opened it” Min believes the theft took place Monday night or Tuesday morning.

 

Min went to teach on Wednesday at lunchtime and that is when she found her blue Nike bag was missing, The incident has been reported to the Police, if anyone knows who the suspect is please get in touch and help to reunite the hard drive back to the rightful owner.

A Leicester Man With Long Term Disabilities Has Had His Car Vandalised By Criminals

“It’s sad your mindless vandalism has taken away my chance of independence.”  says victim Alex George.

Last night (22/09/2017) Alex George’s car was severely vandalised with items being removed and stolen, this happened on the Little Hill Estate in Wigston, Leicester.

 

Alex was informed by a PCSO at 8am on the morning of 23/09/2017 that his car had been vandalised.

 

Alex does not have very much information about the crime, he knows that around 10pm people were seen in a car next to his car, though these people are not suspects they may have valuable information.

 

The criminals have removed an electric pump from the car worth £69.99, they also removed a lot of Alex’s content from his car, which the PCSO had to put back in the car for Alex, the items were found on the grass at the local park.

 

He said he has been targeted before, when his P plates was removed and his ariel had been broken, Alex feels very fed up.

Alex’s Mum has said:

“Last night my son's car was vandalised on the Little Hill Estate in Wigston - the chances are it will be written of as a result. If anyone saw anything please report it to the Police”

 

As well as asking Catch A Thief for help Alex also took to Facebook with this message for the criminals:

The message reads

 

“ To the thugs responsible

 

I have a range of disabilities including dyspraxia and aspergers - it took me a long time to learn how to drive and even longer to save for a car - sad your mindless vandalism has taken away my chance of independence.”

 

Alex ends the message by saying:

 

“ You must be very proud of your selfish actions”

 

Alex is an active member of his community helping others, through Talent Match which helps young people aged 18-24  with life skills, such as building confidence, gaining experience and helping young people, prepare for work and interviews.

 

Alex is also involved in Hidden Talent, which is a part of Talent Match but helps people with hidden disabilities, such as the Dyspraxia and Aspergers, over the last year Hidden Talent have been trying to achieve two goals; 1. Getting into the Jobcentre and 2. Incorporating mental health into the their programme.
