The Impact of Retail Theft

Theft from retail outlets is not a victimless crime. It drives up the cost of goods, leads to businesses being unable to afford wages for employees, and, in the worst case, causes stores to close, leaving communities without vital services. In the UK, retail crime costs businesses and communities billions every year, with over 500 retail and security staff assaulted or abused daily while providing essential services.

Catch a Thief Leeds is committed to reducing crime, using the latest technologies to prevent criminal activity, and offering guidance to vulnerable community members.
